Åsa Jungnelius’ and Ludvig Löfgren’s home in darkest Småland is the heart of their life and work. Originally an old schoolhouse, it now encompasses both their studios and their home. I arrived there with Jakob Solgren, a stylist whom I have been working with and laughing with for more than 10 years. Working together with Jungnelius and Löfgren really opened up our minds to new ways of doing things and stimulated our creativity in that rare and precious way that you often seek but more seldom find. At the end of the day’s work we had Champagne on the veranda, served in a glass of Jungnelius’ own design – of course! Creativity and Champagne… We left there enriched in many ways!
